Aquopolis - If you and your children enjoy having some water related fun, then Madrid's two water theme parks are the place to go. Here you will find all the different rides that make water parks so much fun. One of the parks is located in San Fernando de Henares, 15 km (10 miles) from Madrid. The other is in Villanueva de la Canada, a 35 km drive (20 miles) from Madrid.

Faunia -Take your kids to a truly green adventure at this nature theme park which highlights different ecosystems and houses the different plant and animal life peculiar to each ecosystem.

Four different zones are made each with a different climate and these are home to over 1500 different animals. The natural habitat of the animals have been recreated by combining imported vegetation with modern climate control systems. One can find an Arctic Zone as well as a Tropical Rain Forest.

Museo de Cera -Madrid's wax museum offers an interesting and captivating array of wax work that is bound to enchant the young and old alike. The various wax figures on display speak volumes. A definitely recommended educational experience for children.

Madrid Zoo and Aquarium - All kids love zoos and aquariums. This is just the perfect place to combine education plus fun. Children will enjoy watching animals carry out tricks, at the same time being educated about the way these animals live. The whole complex has been divided into areas for each continent and kids will get to see a variety of animals ranging from dolphins, koalas and rhinos to the Iberian lynx, an endangered species native to the Iberian Peninsula.
