Ramadan Kareem at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta

Jakarta, 20 June 2013 - Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta is marking the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan with an array of delectable dining options ranging from Arabian dishes specially prepared by a guest chef from Egypt to special corporate iftars to create a memorable Ramadan experience.

 

Cinnamon restaurant will serve daily traditional Arabian dishes prepared exclusively by guest chef Walaa Abdul Maged Madany from Egypt. The buffet will feature hot and cold mezzeh, followed by a choice of main courses including the popular Kebab, Egyptian Mousakaa, with hot dishes include Lamb Kofta, Grilled Chicken Arabic Style and many more. A range of traditional Arabic and Indonesian desserts like Baklava, Basbousa, and Kolak will also be available to satisfy your sweet tooth. 

 

During the month of Ramadan, Cinnamon will be decorated with traditional artistic elements, giving guests the opportunity to break their fast while experiencing the beautiful Arabic-like surroundings. Iftar at Cinnamon is priced at IDR298,000++ per person inclusive of coffee, tea and tajil.

 

For corporate or group iftar, the hotel’s spacious ballroom or function rooms are the ideal settings for organisations to meet and greet clients. Offering an extensive tailor-made menu, Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta’s events team will be delighted to arrange a sumptuous iftar buffet for an occasion to be remembered. For group iftars prices commence at IDR290,000++ per person for Indonesian buffet and IDR380,000++ for Middle Eastern Buffet.
