Abu Dhabi to Colombo for AED 399

Rotana Jet will be flying to Colombo and Mattala in Sri Lanka as its new destination, effective 09th April 2014.


The airline will operate three flights per week from Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi to Sri Lanka’s commercial capital and to the second international gateway, using an Airbus A319 aircraft in Business and Economy Class.  


Rotana Jet will increase the frequencies to six flights soon. One way all inclusive fares in Economy Class starts at AED 399 to Colombo.

Easter brunch at Park Hyatt Dubai

In celebration of Easter this April, Park Hyatt Dubai will hold special variations of their Traiteur Friday brunch and weekly Saturday barbeque at The Terrace.


The ‘Good Friday’ brunch at Traiteur will take place on Friday 18 April, and will offer guests an extensive and delectable variety of seafood dishes, as well as a whole lamb roast from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm.  


Featuring a large selection of appetisers and live cooking stations, Traiteur will offer tuna tartar with ginger and pomelo or scallop with seaweed butter as a special seafood addition to the traditional selection. 


A variety of dishes will also be on offer from the piazza area outside the Dubai Restaurant, where a live grill station is set up, serving grilled lobster tail as well as a lamb roast.


As for desserts, there will be an extensive buffet and live dessert stations inside Traiteur’s private dining room. The mouth-watering selection here includes hot cross buns, home-made ice creams, a crêpe station, a chocolate fountain, a praline station and a plethora of other desserts, including macaroons, opera cake, éclairs and crème brûlée.


Brunch rates start at AED465 per person, including food and beverages.

Win a chance to experience the new menu from Mugaritz before anyone else

London: Two Michelin starred restaurant Mugaritz in San Sebastian, Northern Spain, will celebrate the launch of the new 2014 season by running a competition that will give six winners and their guests the opportunity to be the very first to try the new menu. The all-inclusive lunch takes place on the 8th of April 2014, the day before the official opening date of the restaurant. 

Mugaritz, from celebrated chef Andoni Luis Aduriz, will reopen its doors after devoting four months to the development of its new menu. 

Registration for the prize drawing opens on Thursday 27th March 2014 at 10:00am on the Mugaritz website (www.mugaritz.com) under the “You Open The Doors of Mugaritz” section.

Participants will have until the 31st of March to complete the entry form. At 9:00am on Tuesday the 1st of April, the winners will be contacted by the restaurant. The new Mugaritz menu, drinks and service charge are all included, but guests will need to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.

Four Seasons offers private jet package

Four Seasons has launched a luxury travel package that will take guests on an European vacation centered around art and culture aboard a private jet.


The Backstage with the Arts tour is meant to offer participants access to premier art collections, exclusive musical performances, private dinners and visits to cultural institutions across Europe.


For example, guests will be privy to areas of the Duomo di Milano traditionally closed to the public and a special performance of “Don Giovanni” at the historic Estates Theatre in Prague.


The luxury package was developed with La Fugue, Paris, which specializes in creating art, classical music and opera-themed travel itineraries.


Other stops include a private, after-hours tour of a UNESCO World Heritage site in Lisbon, the Jerónimos Monastery, and a private tour of St. Isaac’s Cathedral in St. Petersburg followed by a gala at Pavlovsk Palace, once the hunting grounds of czars.


Guests will travel on a private Boeing 757 customized to seat 52 passengers. Onboard meals will be prepared by a Four Seasons chef.


Prices start at $69,000 a person, based on double occupancy for trips leaving April 20 to May 5, 2015.
