TAJIKISTAN – 10 June, 2012 – Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:HOT) has signed an agreement with CJSC CHL International, a subsidiary of CHL Limited (BSE:CHL), an Indian-based company, to open a Sheraton Hotel in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Scheduled to open in early 2013, the Sheraton Dushanbe Hotel marks the entrance of Starwood in the country. The opening of this hotel is part of the company’s global strategic expansion plan that includes adding more than 60 new hotels to the Sheraton portfolio over the next three years.

Offering convenient access to the airport, the new-build Sheraton Hotel will be located in the city centre and comprise 148 guest rooms and 13 suites including 10 spacious deluxe suites, 2 executive suites, a 550 square-metre Presidential Suite, two restaurants, a café, a lounge and a bar.
All guest rooms will feature the brand’s signature all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper® Bed. The hotel will also feature a Health Club offering an array of beauty and wellness treatments, an indoor pool and Sheraton Fitness programmed by Core Performance. For business travellers, the hotel will offer 600 square metres of ultra-modern meeting space including two meeting rooms. The hotel will also offer Sheraton Club rooms and Lounge and the brand’s signature Link@Sheraton experienced with Microsoft, a unique communication hub delivering the technology modern guests expect and require while on the road.
