New York Film Academy – Abu Dhabi teams up with One to One for Monday Roof Top Movie evenings

The New York Film Academy Abu Dhabi was founded on the philosophy of "learning by doing" this is now combined with best industry practices and more valuable than years of theoretical study for filmmakers and actors. This educational model allows students to achieve more in less time than at all other film or acting schools. And now have recently tied up with One to One Hotel – the Village taking the philosophy forward, where they will screen short movies of and for their students highlighting different movie themes each week. New York Academy Abu Dhabi starts off this by creating a  “Movie Club” which will help combine new generation of film makers with the established film industry associates & chance to show the ‘best of’ quality movies to our students.

Imad Deiratany, Development Manager at the New York Film Academy Abu Dhabi says: “We want to promote social activities among the youth, which include acting and filmmaking. We give students a platform and encourage them to step forward where they think or foresee an opportunity in them to get the first reaction from the real audience.”  Adding, “This event will also help our students pick their characters for their forthcoming projects and give birth to new actors.”

One to One Hotel – the Village will host Movie Nights every Monday 8pm onwards at The Village Club – Roof Top, where the ambiance will have a lounge vibe to it with a comfortable sofa seating. The event is open for all at no entry cost. Abu Dhabi New York Academy students get a 20% discount on Food & Beverage purchase.
