Four Seasons and Mubadala announce partnership

April 13- Mubadala Development Company and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts have announced the forming of a partnership to develop the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Sowwah Island, a luxury business hotel slated to open in 2013.
The hotel will be adjacent to Sowwah Square and will be a tribute to Abu Dhabi‘s unique culture and heritage.
With around 200 rooms and 125 residences, the hotel will have conference and meeting facilities, restaurants, fitness centre, spa and a waterfront promenade that will offer a view of the Sowwah Square. Speaking on the occasion, John Thomas, Executive Director of Mubadala Real Estate & Hospitality, said: "The UAE's first Four Seasons Hotel is the latest addition to the community of leading local and international companies, partners and brands that are coming together and contributing to the vibrancy and diversity of this premium, mixed use district. We welcome Four Seasons as a strategic partner in Abu Dhabi's new Central Business District on Sowwah Island."
