Eid holiday in Greece - 50% off
Go where not many have gone this Eid. The Greek island of Crete has a hotel fit for kings and princesses - the Palazzo Loupassi Boutique Hotel, Kolymbari Chania - is offering a special 50% discount for those who wish to visit this Leading Hotel of the World in October.
The Prince Elias Presidential Suite is ideal for visitors with large families. This palatial suite has three bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a large living room. The decor is all old-world but wifi, flat screen TV and climate control air-conditioning provide you modern day comfort.
The Prince Elias Suite is available for a week's stay for Euro 2,723 - substantially below its regular price of Euro 4,025. Those with a lower budget can stay in the Queen Angela Suite which accommodates up to 5 people and is available for only Euro 693 for a week - instead of the regualr price of Euro 1,330.
When staying at the Palazzo Loupassi make sure you visit Yiali Tzami or seaside mosque - a mosque built by the Turks when they conquered Chania in 1649. Regular prayers were offered there until 1923 but the mosque is now used as an art gallery.
