Beach club planned for Saadiyat Island
May 7 - A luxury beach club is being designed for Saadiyat Island to attract high spending residents in Abu Dhabi to the capital’s multibillion dirham flagship tourism development. Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) is building the island development which will be home to the Guggenheim and Louvre museums. The luxury beach club will have a spa, two swimming pools, tennis courts, a gym, restaurants, cafes, and a children’s play area.
Noaf Tahlak, marketing manager at TDIC, said “Of course the priority will be for the residents of the Saadiyat Beach district, but there will be a daily guest membership as well. The club will cater to all ages and will be an all day family destination she said. Miss Tahlak said residents will begin moving into apartments and villas on the island by the end of this month, so that will give people an idea of what Saadiyat Beach District will look like.
