Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) to develop five-year plans

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH), the hotel, tourism, transport and catering group, will work on an internal five-year development plan in tandem with the plans announced by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) to develop the sector, an official said.
ADTA has recently announced that it plans to increase the number of tourists visiting Abu Dhabi to 2.7 million and double the number of hotel rooms by the year 2012.
âℬœThe hospitality industry is at the heart of the tourism sector, and if the authorities are seeking 2.7 million tourists by 2012, the capacity of hotels must adapt, as well as the way things are managed and run," Saif Mohammad Al Hajeri, the new chairman of ADTA, told Gulf News during a farewell ceremony held for the former chairman, Khalifa Nasser Al Mansoori, after 12 years in office.

ADNH plans to strengthen its existing and expanding catering, travel and tourism and transport services. The company will develop a five-year strategic business plan supporting the great vision of Abu Dhabi in the hospitality sector.
The  upcoming projects at the Capital Centre [Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre], Saadiyat and the JW Marriott are all part and parcel of this vision in Abu Dhabi .
