A Ritzy Eid affair in Riyadh
Riyadh does not usually evoke any instant association with holiday and tourism. It is a city with no beaches and no mountains. Admittedly, it is the capital of Saudi Arabia but unlike Jeddah it is not accessible to the millions of religious tourists who visit the kingdom every year. So, how does a classy hotel in Riyadh promote itself as a destination for the Eid holiday? It follows the old adage - the way to a man's heart is through his stomach!
The Ritz Carlton Riyadh is offering a sumptuous Eid brunch at Al Orjouan Restaurant with a selection of oriental delicacies including mezze and salad buffets, freshly baked breads, a sushi station and grilled seafood and meat. And to cater to the demands of your sweet tooth they also have an expansive buffet of puddings, tarts, chocolates and Arabic sweets. After the chocolate fondue and custard filled croissants you may want to work up an appetite for dinner by visiting Strike, their six-lanes bowling alley.
A couple can spend a night at the hotel and enjoy a complimentary Eid brunch for two people for SR 1,800.
