The Hotel Show Opens In Dubai

The Hotel Show, the region’s premier tradeshow for the hotel industry opens in the Dubai World Trade Center at the Shaikh Rashid Hall on Sunday.   The hotel industry is looking for strategies to deal with the global economic slowdown, so the trade show is receiving more attention this year.  The exhibition director for The Hotel Show said hospitality professionals will be looking for the opportunities that come with challenging times like these.  Maggie Moore said “There is little doubt the regional hospitality industry has moved into unchartered territory.”

Moore said registrations for the trade show are up 40% to 6,000 compared to last years 4,000.  Exhibitors from 48 different countries are attending the show, and UAE companies are in the top 20 companies followed by companies in Germany, France, Thailand, Greece, Cyprus, USA, United Kingdom, Brazil, Australia, Philippines, Taiwan, Pakistan, India, Australia, Spain, and Portugal.
