Mumtaz Mahal, the award-winning Indian specialty restaurant at Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa invites you to a nine-day Punjabi food festival starting Thursday, 12th April to Friday, 20th April, marking the Baisakhi Festival.
Celebrated in North India, particularly in Punjab and Haryana, the Baisakhi Festival is notable for its great deal of feasting. The Punjabis, being energetic people are fond of eating and working. They are people with sturdy appetite which is why Punjabi tandoori cooking is one of the most popular cuisines in the world.

The Baisakhi Festival is one festival that will introduce the cuisine and culture of Punjab to the taste buds of Dubai. Our in-house chef and his culinary team will prepare the sumptuous dishes of Punjab and we invite the community to indulge in these offerings!
Chef Thulu Babu and his team will prepare an assortment of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes from all corners of Punjab such as Jhinga Punjabi, Machli Amritsari, Tangdi Jhalandri, Patiala Saag Gosht, Nimbu Khire Da Salad, Aloo Chat , Chana Chat, Paneer Tikka Lahori, Sarson Ka Sag, Shimla Mirchi Masaledar, Kadi Pakori, Motia Pulao, Dhai Bala, Baingan Ka Bharta, Dhaba Dal Fry along with a wide range of rotis like naan, lacchedar pratha, makai ki roti which goes best with onions, green chillis and a tall glass of lassi. The festival also offers mouthwatering desserts like Raj Bhog, Gajrella, Kheer, Rabdi and Gulab Jamun.
