Prices of airline tickets for flights to Dubai, United Arabi Emirates, have increased considerably, up to the rate of 150 per cent. This is compared to regular priced tickets which were a minimum of about 700 riyals back and forth from Dammam, Manama, to Dubai.
Khalil Nashmi, the economic supervisor of the Kanoo Travel and Tourism office in Dammam stated that these prices were subject to prior arrangements since the beginning of the year by the airlines, for example, when you book the first ten seats on the flight to Dubai, prices are from 700 riyals when you engage in special offers related to early bookings. The increased price is after the initial offer so it is possible for travelers who bought his ticket at 700 riyals to be seated along with other passengers who paid a price of about two thousand riyals.
