Art collection at The Dolder Grand

The Dolder Grand evokes a place whereby a memorable dinner becomes even more meaningful when you can dine amongst artistic masterpieces. Having progressively developed a fine collection of paintings and sculptures, since its reopening in 2008, more than 100 eminent artworks from Schwarzenbach’s private collection have graced the walls.

Boasting several pieces from Andy Warhol, the collection includes the Big Retrospective Painting, an 11-metre masterpiece above the reception, welcoming guests upon their arrival. 

Most of the collection is displayed in public areas, including a large Henry Moore bronze, oil paintings by Tamara de Lempicka, sculptures by Juan Munoz, a collection of classic works by impressionist Camille Pissarro and antiques like “La Belleuse” (ca. 1870), the iconic sculpture by Albert Carrier-Belleuse that stands on the clock pedestal by Eugène Farcot in the Steinhalle.
