Etihad Airways customers flying from Pakistan – Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad to Abu Dhabi can now check-in and board from Terminal 3 at Abu Dhabi airport.
The move follows the gaining of security approvals to operate flights to US destinations from the new terminal and means premium customers flying to and from Pakistan can now conveniently access Etihad’s First and Business class check-in and lounges in Terminal 3.
Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We are pleased to now be able to offer our Pakistan-bound customers the convenience and luxury of Terminal 3 including premium check-in and lounges as well as world class duty free shopping.”
In addition to the Pakistan destinations, flights to Chicago and New York now operate from Terminal 3, switching from Terminal 1. Flights to Colombo and Moscow will move to Terminal 1.
