Fujairah Airport To Get New Aircraft Maintenance Facility

Fujairah Airport and Europe Aviation have signed an agreement for a new aircraft maintenance facility.  Officials said construction of the new facility will begin in a few weeks and is expected to be complete within 18 months.  It is estimated the cost of the new facility will be about Dh 50 million and create 300 new jobs, most of which will be filled through the UAE job market.

Fujairah Airport Director Dr. Al Mazroui, concluded the deal with CEO of Europe Aviation, who flew into Fujairah from Paris.  Dr. Mazroui said there are also plans to market Fujairah as a stop-over and maintenance center for the small business jet market.
