Jazeera Airways Expands Further Into Syria

Kuwaiti based Jazeera Airways announced it is expanding further into Syria, adding non-stop flights to Latakia from December 15th.  This is the airlines fourth destination in Syria.  Jazeera Airways will fly four times a week from Kuwait to the popular Mediterranean resort of Latakia.   The new service to Latkia is part of the airline’s recent network expansion, including a twice daily service to Abu Dhabi.

Stephan Pichler, chief executive for Jazeera Airways, said “Latakia is a city rich in history and at the same time is a top Mediterranean tourist spot, boasting long stretches of soft sandy beaches.”  He said people flying from Latkia will be able to connect to many other destinations on across their network including Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Isfahan, Doha, Dubai, and Bahrain.
