The makers of the hugely popular UAE television cartoon animation series, FREEJ, have now created a flight safety video for flydubai. This 3D snimation features the four grandmothers from the FREEJ series and uses them to instruct passengers about flight safety procedures.
This is an innovative approach towards flight safety as most passengers tend to ignore the flight safety procedures that are displayed before takeoff in every airline. By using the FREEJ characters that appeal to all ages, it is expected that passengers will sit up and watch the video on the screens that are fitted on every seatback on flydubai.
The FREEJ™ series celebrates the culture and traditions of the UAE as told through the eyes of four grandmothers, living in a secluded neighborhood in modern day Dubai.
Its creator, Mohammed Saeed Harib, said: “This was a very exciting project to take on. There is great brand compatibility between FREEJ™ and flydubai, as we are both young and inventive brands that have become household names very quickly. The series is already watched by families all over the Middle East and we are delighted to be able to introduce it to new audiences across the flydubai network.”
