Etihad's 10th Anniversary spirit of Ramadan celebrations
Celebrating its 10th anniversary in a style that fits with the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, donated 3,500 Iftar meals to workers. Etihad employees and their families chipped in to put a smile on the face of thousands of workers from the Mussafah village in Abu Dhabi.
That is certainly one smart way to celebrate a birthday and let the less fortunate benefit. Kudos to Etihad!
Etihad Airways was set up by Royal (Amiri) Decree in July 2003, and commenced commercial operations in November, 2003. It has gone on to become the fastest growing airline in the history of commercial aviation.
