Emirates ‘Open Day’ in Abu Dhabi this week

altMay 26 - Emirates Airlines’ representatives will go to Abu Dhabi this week to recruit more cabin crew from the UAE in line with the carrier’s expansion plans. Emirates is looking to recruit around 3,000 cabin crew this year with special emphasis on the Arabic language crew count.
The last time the airline went to Abu Dhabi for recruitments was in October 2008.
The cabin crew open day will be held on May 29 from 9.00am at the Al Maha Ariaan by Rotana, Hamdan Street, Abu Dhabi. Candidates will submit their resumes on open day and learn more about the job and the airline. The candidates selected will then go through an assessment process.

Rick Helliwell, Emirates Vice President Recruitment said: "There are very few jobs that enable you to travel the world while working in a multicultural team of over 120 nationalities. Life as an Emirates Cabin Crew member is both diverse and rewarding and it is not surprising that we receive over 5,000 applications for cabin crew positions every month."

The eligibility criteria include a high school certification, the age limit of 21 years or above, a safety arm reach of 212cm and fluency in written and spoken English. Candidates should also be friendly and team players.
