Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony

The Oslo Town Hall every 10th of December hosts the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony. As stated in Alfred Nobel’s will, the Nobel Peace Prize is selected by a Committee of five people selected by the Norwegian Parliament. The event is spectacular, with the Norwegian King in attendance, the prize is awarded by the head of the committee to the Prize winner. The next day the Nobel Peace Prize concert takes place to celebrate the newly appointed prize winner. Renown celebrities and musicians are known to host and perform.
