Located within a building that was used primarily as a storage shed cum stable house, the Decorative Arts Museum today houses relics from the Safavid and Qajar eras – glassware, calligraphic samples, miniature frescoes and paintings, intricately carved wooden furniture and sculptures, richly produced attire, an arsenal of medieval weaponry, and a beautiful collection of copies of the Holy Quran.
